My name is Mistie Rivera, Owner of Alvin Ord’s in Springtown, TX, but I am first a wife and then a mother to my three very active boys. I grew up right here in Springtown, and have the pleasure of raising my boys in this same small town. I am fully vested in this place I call home. I serve on the Board of the Springtown Education Foundation and I have served as a parent liaison in the public schools and have helped fundraise for all sorts of local needs in this community.

It is a goal of mine to help better our community by providing an atmosphere where families can come together. That is where it ALL begins. Families gathering around a table to feed their bodies, but more importantly their souls. I LOVE to serve and provide.

It was always a dream of mine to own a restaurant where families could come and I could provide great food, hospitality, and a homey environment. Alvin Ord’s is my realization of that dream. I get to combine my love of cooking and my love of family and share it with all of you. If you find yourself hungry in Springtown, come see us! Sit down and rest!
